AdPay Withdrawals Virtual cards Billing

Overview

What we worked on.

01 · AdPay on Mercurie.ng

AdPay is available to selected businesses.

Beta access, same as cards

AdPay on mercurie.ng is gated per business. Writes stay off until we enroll someone.

Request an account

Enrolled businesses can submit a request. Platform Admin approves or rejects from Backoffice.

Ad accounts pages

Get-started state, account list, and account detail are in place for the new flow.

Preview funding receipts

Successful Preview wallet funding now sends a clear receipt and Slack alert for the team.

02 · Virtual cards

More customers enrolled; create flow is clearer.

New enrollments

Seven waitlist businesses were granted card access this week, including Noirledge and Jman Technologies.

Three-card limit explained

When HostCap’s name quota is hit, customers see a clear pending state and soft limit instead of a dead end.

Activity is easier to read

Description stays visible, activity icons match the spend type, and the Merchant column is clearer.

Safer phone checks

Invalid cardholder phones are rejected before create, so fewer failed HostCap attempts.

03 · Wallets & withdrawals

Bank withdrawals need Finance approval first.

Finance review on every payout

Quoted NGN bank withdrawals now go to Backoffice for approve or reject before money leaves.

Withdrawal history & alerts

Lifecycle updates reach Slack, and withdrawal history loads more reliably for the team.

Owned transfers for selected accounts

Wallet-to-wallet transfers are on for a small set of QA and partner businesses while we test.

Still gated for everyone else

Public withdrawals remain off on mercurie.ng. Preview continues to verify quote and destination flows.

04 · Billing & licences

Unpaid invoices no longer look like a broken quote.

Pay outstanding on Increase Licence

If a licence increase is blocked by unpaid invoices, customers see Outstanding balance due and a Pay button.

Sibling invoices found

Unpaid bills on related Google Workspace orders surface correctly instead of a generic error.

Invoicing resumed

Automated invoicing is back on for PaidHR and Rheedstar after Finance cleared their offline entries.

PostPay exception path

Approved PostPay customers can increase licences even with older outstanding invoices; Pay Now protections stay.

05 · Dashboard polish

Small fixes customers will notice this week.

Card spend on Home

Card spend and funding show up on Home and Transactions while billing sync catches up.

Plan details that match the plan

Google Workspace Standard and Plus Learn More bullets now show the right storage and user counts.

Support alerts have context

Customer support Slack alerts now include the business, so ops spend less time guessing who needs help.

Phone validation everywhere

Signup and compliance forms use the same stricter phone checks as cards.

06 · What’s next

Keep AdPay and cards behind the same gate.

AdPay controlled tests

Start customer testing next week with Busayomi on the onboarding path; enroll more businesses as we go.

Widen cards carefully

More waitlist enrollments as float and cross-border fee guidance get clearer.

Withdrawals stay reviewed

Keep Finance approval on bank payouts until the public path is ready.

Design follow-through

Ayo’s latest Home / Accounts / Subscriptions mock is ready to implement next — not in this week’s ship list.

Summary

Summary

AdPay beta is gated on mercurie.ng, withdrawals sit under Finance review, more card customers are in, and licence increases point unpaid invoices to Pay. Next: controlled AdPay tests.
